What can I borrow?
As a Gibaran member you are entitled to the borrowing rights listed below. Please note you must register first to join the Flinders University Library before you may borrow.

All borrowing rights from the Flinders University Library are in accordance with the Library's circulation policy and conditions of use.
Change
of address
Please notify the library promptly of any change of address.
Demerit points
Demerit points will accrue for all overdue library materials at the following rate:
- 1 point per day per item for each 28 day loan item (books)
- 2 points per day per item for each 7 day loan item (videos)
Any borrower who accrues 60 points will be immediately suspended from borrowing for 14 calendar days. At the end of 14 days, borrowers will be reinstated and 60 points removed from their record.
Lost items
When an item is declared Lost, a replacement cost for the item will be charged which will include GST. If the item is subsequently found, the cost of the item will be refunded (if paid), but 35 penalty points per item will be added to your demerit points total.
Replacement
card procedures
The loss of a card needs to be reported to the Circulation Supervisor immediately. A replacement card will be issued at no cost.
Photocopying
and printing facilities
Photocopying facilities are available throughout the library. Standard A4 photocopying facilities are available as well as A3, double sided and reductions or enlargement copying. Colour copying and overhead transparency facilities are available in the Central Library. For more details on how to photocopy click here.

- A4 photocopying and printing - 11c/page
- A3 photocopying and printing - 17c/page
