Are you an older person who is finding it hard to get started with computers? A helpful DVD entitled Connecting with computers: A guide to getting started for older Australians is available for loan from Central Library Readings, call number: PRIVATE COPY 113. You can also order your free copy in DVD or video format from the Australian Government by calling 1300 363 079.
There are several step-by-step tutorials and guides available on the Library web site to assist you with the use of email, the internet and journal databases.
Microsoft Word 2003 is the word processing application available in the Library. If you use another word processing package at home, you should save your file as Rich Text Format (RTF) and you will be able to open, edit and print in the Library.
