South Australia's peak community based HIV/AIDS organisation, responsible for providing advocacy, education, information, care and support services to people living with AIDS/HIV and their carers. This website offers links to treatment news, resources, databases and other key AIDS/HIV sites.
 
*Australian National Council on AIDS, Hepatitis C & Related Diseases - ANCAHRD
A peak advisory body to the Federal Government. The site includes online publications, reports and related resources and links.
 
*Australasian Society for HIV medicine - ASHM
ASHM is the peak Australasian organisation representing the medical and health sector in HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and related areas.The site contains HIV and HCV programs and course information. Sector-related clinical issues, guidelines, policy and standards updates and conference news and alerts.
 
*Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations - AFAO
An organisation advocating on behalf of its members at the Federal level. This site provides access to information on treatments, current HIV policy and law in Australia, AIDS campaigns and safe sex. Also has links to all the important HIV/AIDS sites internationally.
 
*Multicultural HIV/AIDS and HepC Service - MHAHS
"MHAHS works to respond to HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C among people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. MHAHS works with communities and mainstream services to meet the needs of individuals and communities."
 
*National Centre in HIV Social Research - NCHSR
The National Centre in HIV Social Research conducts research which describes and analyses the social understandings, meanings and practices of peoples, institutions and communities in relation to HIV, Hepatitis C and other communicable diseases. Located in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

A resource which describes itself as the "largest HIV/AIDS website in the world, updated hourly". Provides access to the basic facts, relevant news items, treatment options and life issues, legal information, U.S. government documents, professional journals and extensive links to other sites.
 
*AIDSmap
A site produced by the British HIV Association, St Stephen's AIDS Trust and the UK's National AIDS Manual. Consists of general information, news bulletins, links to professional resources (including medical journals) and organisations. Excellent links to other resources, including the organisation's newsletter "AIDS treatment update" and sites on AIDS in Asian and African countries.

This site is a rich source of information on global HIV/AIDS programmes and public health policy. Includes worldwide statistics by country and includes many fulltext reports on prevention and control issues.
 
*World Health Organization - HIV/AIDS program - WHO
This site contains publications, topic information, guidelines, policy documents and reports on the global HIV/AIDS epidemic.
