The Office of the ASCC is part of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) portfolio. Their aims are to lead and coordinate Australia's national effort to promote best practice in OHS; improve workers compensation arrangement and improve rehabiliatation and return to work of injured workers. Their role is to develop national occupational health and safety (OHS) and workers' compensation policy; encourage policy discussion and research; promote consistency in legislation developed by states and territories. Site includes best practice guidelines, standards and codes of practice.

NSCA is Australia’s leading provider of occupational health and safety training and consulting services. The site contains resources, information and links to web sites in the field of occupational health and safety. Included in the site are details of training courses, audit, benchmarking and consulting services.
