*American Academy of Pain Management - AAPM
This site contains information about the Academy and links and resources for pain professionals and patients. The National Pain Data Bank is available at this site and allows users to search the database for information on treatments for specific conditions.
*American Society for Pain Management Nursing - ASPNM
The Society aime to "advance and promote optimal nursing care for people affected by pain by promoting best nursing practices". Site contains public information on events and programs and links to further pain sites.

Part of the reputable and award-winning website produced by the New York Online Access to Health project. This comprehensive site provides information on basic and specific issues with links to other pain related web resources.
 
*Mayday Pain Project
"The Mayday Pain & Society Fellowship: A Media and Policy Initiative trains physicians, nurses, social workers, scientists, and legal scholars in the pain management community to go beyond their own professional pursuits to become thought leaders and advocates for change in the understanding and management of pain in the United States and Canada."

Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical Center, US. The site contains pain management and palliative care information, powerpoints, clinical trials, clinical guidelines, clinical programs and treatment models as well as links to research.
