Health. It contains information for health workers, the public,
policies, plans and interpreting and translating resources.

- A site produced by NSW Health which offers health information
publications on a wide range of health topics in languages other
than english (downloadable as PDF files). It also contains FAQs
and other resources useful to health professionals.

Mental Health Australia - MMHA
- The goal of this national body is to improve the mental health
outcomes of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
across Australia. The organisation's website contains links to other
transcultural health sites and national peak bodies, research resources
and papers and an informative newsletter called Synergy.
International
- Research
Centre for Transcultural Studies in Health - Evidence based practice
- Based at Middlesex University, School of Health and Social Sciences,
London. The site includes full-text teaching and learning resources
and selected research articles on transcultural health as well as
evidence based practice.

Nursing Society - TNS
- A US-based site that offers membership, a definition of transcultural
nursing, current conference information, book reviews and an index
to issues of the Journal of Transcultural Nursing from 1989 to the
present.

- An ethnic medicine guide produced by the Harborview Medical Center
at the University of Washington, this site discusses cultural beliefs
as they relate to health care. It also has excellent translated patient
education materials on problems such as fever, coughs and cold and
tuberculosis.
Transcultural
Mental Health On-Line
- This site forms part of the free, peer-reviewed journal Psychiatry
Online. It contains original and review articles, book reviews and
news bulletins on issues to do with transcultural mental health.
