(Ref Coll 303 I61.E) The Microform CollectionThe Microform Collection on Level 1 of the Library houses an extensive collection of Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) historical publications including census publications, yearbooks and pre-Federation colonial statistics. For ABS publications after the mid 1990s see their website. The Australian Joint Copying Project collection (Microform Coll 994.005 A924) includes almost 10,000 microfilm reels relating toAustralia that were held by the Public Records Office in London. Dates rang from 1560 - 1975. Databases and Articles Searching for Flinders patronsJSTOR, Expanded Academic ASAP (InfoTrac), Proquest, ScienceDirect and APA-FT (Australian) are the main collections of full text articles. Factiva provides full-text coverage from newspapers such as New York Times, Guardian, Independent, and London Times, as well as the major Australian newspapers. Recently acquired collections, Mass Observation Online and Empire Online provide many essays and historical documents. For the researcher, citation databases include Historical Abstracts, Informit (Australian), PAIS (Public Affairs Information Service), Social Sciences Citation Index and Current Contents.
