Government / Parliamentary publicationsAustralianThe Library holds full sets of Parliamentary Papers and Hansard (the Debates) for the Federal and South Australian Parliaments. They are located on Level 0 at e Periodicals s328.9401/ 328.9402 and 328.94201/ 328.94202 respectively. Electronic access to publications of the Federal Parliament (including Hansard) are available at through the Parliament of Australia website, from 1996. The South Australian Parliament's website provides access to the state's Hansards, from 1993. For the holdings for other States, consult the Library catalogue or Information Desk staff. For electronic access follow the links from the Australian, State, Territory and Local Governments page. LegislationAustralianThe Law Library (Level 3) holds full sets of Federal and State legislation, including Bills, Statutes and subordinate legislation. See the Law Library Web page for further details. Electronic access to Australian Federal legislation is also available through the ScalePlus Web site. NewspapersThe Library holds a selection of current and historical Australian and overseas newspapers in print and microform. Individual titles may be searched on the Voyager Catalogue, or ask at the Information Desk. Electronic access to the full-text of many Australian and international newspapers is via the Factiva database. (Almost 9000 sources in 20+ languages are covered). Check Voyager for the Library's holdings in both formats - use 'Journal title' search from the Basic search screen. Full text collections of electronic journals relevant to politics and international realtions include ProQuest, Expanded Academic ASAP, APA- Full Text (Australian material), Blackwell Synergy, Oxford University Press, Sage Journals, Cambridge University Press, JSTOR, Taylor and Francis, CIAO (Columbia International Affairs Online) and ScienceDirect. Databases The above link leads to various citaion databases relevant to the politics and international realtions researcher such as: AGIS - Attorney-General's Information System, APAIS - Australian Public Affairs Information Service, EconLit - economics literature, GeoBase - which includes International Development Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, Contemporary Women's Issues, PAIS International - public policy and public affairs, Current Contents, CIAO - Columbia International Affairs Online and CountryWatch - up to date data for all nations. (Use the A-Z listing of 'Databases by title' to find a particular database). Look for the LinkIt@Flinders button to display the full text when it is available.
