Renewals

You may renew the loan of a book from the My Record option on Voyager, the library catalogue.
You may also renew a loan in person – show your ID card to the Loans desk on or before the due date. Loans may also be renewed by ringing the library. You'll need to quote your student number and the title of the book.

Medical Library8204 5678
Sturt Library8201 3279

A loan may not be renewed if someone is waiting for the book or if you have already renewed it for the maximum number of renewals allowed. A 28 day loan can be renewed twice and a 7 day loan once.

Recalls

If a book you have on loan is required for the Readings collection, we will ask you to return it immediately. You will usually be contacted via your university email account.

Holds

If the book you want is out on loan you may place a hold on it. This means that it will be kept for you when it is returned, and we'll email you to let you know that it is available. The book will be held for you at the Loans desk for 7days.
To place a hold on a book, it must already be on loan or on hold for another patron. Look the book up on Voyager, the library catalogue, view the detailed record and then click on Holds and other Requests. You will need to login and follow the instructions on the screen. Detailed instructions are available.
